I read through and though there is no way I can completely understand, since I'm not you, but I can relate. The part where all attempts to get a job were futile. You know actively job-hunting but nothing came forth. Where you mention how you hate being idle...
For me, I took a step back from social media. I was still online but passive everywhere.
I went back to fully learning, and I'll keep learning until I get opportunities to practice the various thing I'm learning.
Yes, I'm still in the community space as a Community Moderator, and I still apply for jobs whenever they come my way. I just stopped hunting.
